Preparing for interpreting assignments seems simple enough, but there’s more to it than meets the eye. In this session I will discuss four different ways that interpreters can prepare themselves for specific assignments, as well as for all of the unexpected information we often deal with during assignments.
Participants will be asked to create work samples before and after doing prep work, and to compare the quality of the interpretations.
